I have long wavy/curly hair that's naturally dark brown with cool undertones (included pic). I used this as directed on dry hair, lathered for about 10 mins and left it on for an additional 20 mins. The color ends up a very rich cool true black. There are no blue undertones in the sunlight like some black dyes but still a cool toned black. My after pic is after one wash so I'm not sure how much it'll fade over time.The bottle seems to have two chambers with probably a dye and some sort of developer, and when you pump it out, they come out of the nozzle together. This is really convenient and way less messy than having to mix it yourself in a bowl. It also allows you to only pump out the amount that you need. I have very long and thick hair and didn't even use half the bottle so I know I can get 2-3 uses from one bottle. Those with shorter or thinner hair can probably get many more. Another thing I noticed is the smell is a lot less strong and chemical-y compared to other dyes I've used, I didn't have to open all my windows and air my apartment out because there was no lingering smell.Overall, i think this is much more convenient than traditional box dyes I've purchased. I would recommend using a good conditioner immediately after dying, I didn't but feel like it would've made my hair look smoother and more tamed.

I was not expecting this to work as it did. My hair naturally sits on the bid brown color, not very dark but not close to blonde either. Using this product i was skeptical because its just essentially a shampoo that you mix with your hands into a foam and then apply to your hair with your hands. The foam was light brown so i was also a little skeptical. I applied everything and let it sit for about 35 mins and then showered and i must say my hair is jet black now and it looks really natural and really good. Ive used other shampoos like this that end up giving my hair a tint of either green or blue and this one did neither just pure black. Super fantastic product and makes it very easy to maintain the color as well because of the straightforwardness of the shampoo.
